McLAREN Z1THE LAST OVERTURE

Enter plays a nine-second cinematic sequence with designed sound. The engine layer is a processed library recording, not the Z1. Audio sources are credited after entry.

A MECHANICAL ORGANISM
PLAN SHAPE

The two lobes of the lung become the sidepods, and the gap between them becomes the spine that houses the V12. The driver sits where the airway divides.

ONE CONTINUOUS STROKE

Drawn as a single continuous stroke, the character line carries McLaren's heritage design language — its sweep and kink inspired by the brand's boomerang-shaped Speedmark — while pushing the proportions toward a purpose-built, explosive hypercar silhouette.

A SINGLE RESPIRATORY SYSTEM

Air enters through the nose, the roof scoop and the side intakes — feeding and cooling the V12 — then follows the character line before exiting through the diffuser and rear wing. Like a lung drawing breath, the whole car works as a single respiratory system.
